Greetings! I have set this section aside especially for readers of my book, Mastering the Past: Unlocking Excellence in High School History, but really for any student of history who wants to hash out challenging concepts and ideas. In class, you might hear (or read) all sorts of things that are pretty complex and sophisticated. I am looking forward to discussing such things with you here. These are the simple rules: everyone, and I mean everyone is welcome. However, I will not allow any abusive or profane language of any kind. This is a space for respectful conversation. Ad hominem attacks and any other mean-spirited comments are strictly forbidden. Also, this is not the space to promote your political agenda. I will ban all of those who feel compelled to weaponize history in service of an ideology, regardless of what that ideology might be. Thanks and I look forward to your thoughtful and engaging comments!
